After passing downstream sibling Weisendanger Falls, most people peer over the side of Hidden Falls on Multnomah Creek without fully appreciating its beauty. But a short scramble down a boot path allows the spectacular view in the photos that follow. The Forest Service calls the falls "Ecola", an ill-fitting name (unless whales have somehow migrated up Multnomah Creek), so I've opted for "Hidden Falls", an unofficial name used in the "Romance of the Waterfalls" guide. This photo was taken in May 2006.
