That's what makes the field guide so good, people notice errors and fix them
Grannyhiker:To me, "family-friendly" means something I can take kids aged 8 and under on. In other words, short, not too steep and with interesting stuff (for kids) along the way as well as an interesting destination. By the time a kid is 11 or 12, he's probably out-hiking his parents. The problem then is to get him to slow down!
Yeah -8 and under was what I thinking. Some combination of fairly easy, safe and appealling to a child's attention span
