So this recipe combines 3 things: tasty food, easy prep, and lots of energy!

    Ingredients:

    1 cup water
    1 cup dry couscous
    3-4 tbsp ghee
    1/4 cup died peas
    1/4 cup dried cashews
    1/2 medium chopped onion
    1 tsp chicken broth powder
1 tsp garlic powder (fresh garlic is better and is it really that much heavier????)
    1 tsp cumin seeds
    1/4 tsp turmeric
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp red chilli powder
    2 tsp curry powder
    pinch of hing (optional)

For ease of packing, you can pre-measure the: couscous, peas, cashews, turmeric, chilli powder, chicken broth powder, garlic powder, and salt; to store them all together in a baggy until ready for use.

    Lets get started..

1: Heat the ghee in your pan until cumin seeds pop when added. 2: Add the optional pinch of hing & cumin seeds; fry for 1-2 mins. 3: Add the chopped onion; fry for 2-5 minutes. 4: Add the water and bring to a boil. 5: Remove pot from heat and add baggy of ingredients. 6: Mix ingredients well and cover; let sit about 5 minutes then fluff with fork and serve.

I like to add a lil green chilli too..
