Let's start a thread of your hiking / backpacking photos. Anything will do: critters, lakes, rivers, peaks, valleys - you get the idea.  I'll start off with a photo of my first backpacking trip I ever took (not including a trip to Middle Sister I took about 20 years ago). This happens to be next to Middle Sister as well. I think the tent must have weighed about 7 lbs. No joke!

Now it's your turn. Let's have fun!

(Note: If you have pictures stored on a gallery elsewhere the easiest way to include one here is to right-click on the photo in your gallery and select Copy then come back to the forum and select Paste. Your photo will automatically be pasted into your message, no need for any HTML or adding your photo to your gallery.)

    Jeff,

It's a picture of Mt Hood from an Elk Cove campsite. Although I didn't know how poor of a picture it was until I compared it to the others. Embarrassed

Would that be the mouth of the Columbia below the clouds?

Tazz... not sure.  It looks like the North Cascades or possibly the Olympics.  I don't know the hikes up there well at all, so I'm in the dark.  Do I at least have the range right?
