    rosecity:
About two weeks ago, I tried to access the slide from the western side. The creek is raging and I couldn't cross it.
There's a logjam just downstream of the old road that will let you cross without getting wet.  We used it on May 31.  But the hike from Blue Lake is certainly shorter.

I was thinking of hiking up Table Mountain via Aldrich Butte at the end of the month. Is that still possible with the landslide? Is there still a good route to get up there or should I be looking at a different destination?

    Welcome to the site Celiac!

The slide is well east of Table Mountain. Al of the trails in the Aldrich/Carpenter Lake area are clear.

Be sure and report back on your trip. There's a new/rebuilt route up Table Mountain that I haven't tried yet.

What do you suppose is around that next bend?
