Hi I was wondering about the recent Greenleaf Falls Hike page, it doesn't sound right. I was looking for this before I took my trip in February, and I think Steve has recently added to it.

The main trail is a logging road- and clearly stays a logging road at the junctions mentioned- PCT and Dick Thomas trail. It is usually called Moffet Springs road on many maps.  The road does lead to a small falls at the Greenleaf Creek crossing where the bridge is out and it is tricky crossing during the wet season, but this is certainly not the Greenleaf Falls pictured in the photo which according to Zach, Don Nelson and the coordinates reported is  a difficult trail-less steep bushwack upstream from the logging road.

That's a page that certainly needs some field work and reworking.  Several months ago, Jeff and I came up with an outline of hikes that we wanted to see in this area. This is the only one that I haven't had a chance to hike yet.

Somewhere, I have a book or saved web page that mentions a faint trail from the end of the road to Greenleaf Falls. If there's no trail at all, then maybe we need to rethink that.

In any event, feel free to update any page you find that's questionable. There are always going to be newer pages that are kind of on the exploratory edge. As we get more information, they get fleshed out and become more solid.

What do you suppose is around that next bend?
