You should be receiving an email with your new password at the email address you have saved on your existing Portland Hikers account.  Once you receive this email, you can log in to the new forums at:

http://www.portlandhikers.org/forum/

After logging in BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD.   You can do this by clicking on User Control Panel, Profile and then Edit account settings (after logging in).

Same message here. I though the switch wasn't going to happen until tonight (Tuesday), per Jeff's most recent update? If that's correct, that's why we can't get there yet. The new link at the top of the page today to get to the new forum doesn't work yet, either.

Good point Grannyhiker.

Looks like you two just have the old address cached in your DNS.  The DNS change happened around 11 pm last night, but you aren't seeing it for some reason.

You will probably have to wait it out- it should resolve itself within a day.  You can try and clear your DNS cache if you think you can figure that out.  I can provide instructions if you email me: danporter@gmail.com

I hope this isn't another Mac/Firefox issue. I have a Mac (use Safari) and I notice that Fettster uses Firefox. Also, I've been using portlandhikers.org, not .com to access the site for many months now (I just deleted the bookmark). When I do a DNS lookup for portlandhikers.org, I see two addresses but there's no way to delete one even if I knew which one to delete. I can wait until tomorrow; I'm heading for the Gorge in about half an hour anyway.

Nah, it's not a mac or a firefox thing.  I'm actually on a mac right now and it works for me.  It's a DNS cache issue, and it should fix itself soon.

I have not received an email with a new password and I cannot log into the new site.  I believe it may be because I signed up on the 17th on portlandhikers.com.
